Many structures have been built using RC in the world. The aims of this course are to understand design concepts for RC, flexural and shear behavior of RC, design and analysis of RC and seismic behavior and design method of RC. The goals of this course are to master the following items; 1)design concept of RC (allowable stress design method, limit state design method and performance based design method), 2)fiber model analysis, 3)analysis and design for shear of a RC member, 4)seismic behavior of RC and damage of RC structures due to strong earthquakes and 5)seismic design for RC structures.
